We are truly honored and grateful for your interest in the New Horizons Crisis Center, a short term faith-based substance abuse program. The purpose of New Horizons is to provide hope and a future to women dealing with life controlling issues, such as drug and alcohol addictions. Women seeking shelter at New Horizons will be given the opportunity to begin a new life through faith in Jesus Christ. They will be guided toward a personal journey of transformation from the things of this world to a life lived for God. The women will be encouraged to embrace the Christian faith to find true, lasting meaning and purpose in their lives. To foster this transformation, New Horizons will provide a safe, loving environment where these women will have the immediate assistance they need to transition into a long-term drug rehabilitation program in one of many Teen Challenge facilities across the country.

Defining moments in a person's life are often moments of crisis. The word "crisis" in the Chinese language is represented by two distinctly unique characters. The first character means "danger". For many people, it takes a moment of true desperation and helplessness to provoke the realization for the need for change. The second character means "opportunity". To those in their moment of "danger" New Horizons Crisis Center will provide the message and the means, the "opportunity" for a new day and a fresh start through the love of Jesus Christ.
