Stay Sharp Program

Stay Sharp is a drug abuse prevention presentation geared towards teens. It addresses the facts and the effects of drugs from the perspective of teens who have gone through it themselves. We would love to give this presentation to your school or youth group.

New Horizons Crisis Center (Residential Program)

Long-term faith-based substance abuse programs are experiencing a flood of people needing assistance, which is where New Horizons comes in. New Horizons is the missing link between addiction and long-term treatment.

New Horizons is a short-term residential crisis program for women who want deliverance from addiction. NHCC provides them with safe, temporary housing and assists them in the transition into a longterm residential treatment center. NHCC can house up to eight women at a time with the average stay being less than sixty days.

Residents actively participate in Bible studies and receive Christian guidance while living in a structured and supportive environment. While residents are in the program they receive help with legal issues, as well as placement into one of the many faith-based long-term Teen Challenge facilities.

Hope For Life (Non Residential Classes)

The success rate for long-term residential treatment is greater than non-residential programs, but because of family or job obligations not everyone can go to a residential center. Non-residential classes are offered through Hope for Life, which meets at the Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland facility. These faith-based classes focus on steps toward living free from life-controlling addictions. Weekly classes are for individuals or the family unit and enable lives to be restored and transformed for the glory of God. Participants are guided through an addiction recovery Biblical study with curriculum which helps them to renew their thinking and provides accountability.

The classes begin at 6:00 pm on the following evenings:
Monday - Women
Tuesday - Men
Thursday - Family
